If you work for an employer who refuses to pay you a living wage, provide affordable health benefits, paid time off for illnesses or vacation and cut your hours so he or she will not have to provide the above.
Then you work for an employer who does not value your partnership with them and does not deserve your 100% effort on daily basis.
I suggest you start looking for another place to work and in the meantime until you find a better employer. DO NOT give that cock sucker more than what you feel he or she deserves in return for what he or she feels you are worthy of being compensated for.
The employer and employee partnership is a two way street. Without the employer there would be no jobs. Without the employee there would be no business to make the employer money.
